This week we cleared out an acre of forrest. We removed all the invasives, honeysuckle, poison ivy, oriental bittersweet among others. The ultimate plan for this area is to foster the existing blackberry, mulberry and native grape vines and add other species of berries and shade loving fruit trees. I love doing jobs like these because it’s exciting to see progress be made and when I’m back we’ll get to see all the plants we’ve protected from the invasives be thriving and healthy!
