It has come to our attention that there have been several ads posted on Facebook Marketplace by scammers impersonating Valutainer LLC. Our only direct contact number is 775-468-6766, although you may receive a call from a 702 number in the event we are having trouble finding your delivery location in a rural area. We have never accepted payment through Venmo or PayPal. Our policy is to collect a small deposit via credit card over the phone, with the balance due at the time of delivery - we will never ask you for payment in full up front.

Regardless of who you decide to do business with, protect yourself from scams by confirming who you are actually dealing with. Any container seller that doesn't have a physical location is suspect. Deal locally, and if possible visit your chosen portable storage dealer in person. Every legitimate container dealer would be happy to meet you in person at their yard; answer any questions you may have; give you an accurate quote; and explain every condition that you'll need to meet in order for your delivery to go smoothly. Reach out directly to the dealer through their website.

A good source to find legitimate portable storage dealers nationwide is through the National Portable Storage Association (NPSA). Members have all made a substantial financial contribution to the organization, and are not likely to be fly by night operations. You can view the interactive memeber map at www.npsa.org .

Joining NPSA will give you access to information and resources to help you remain competitive and strong in a volatile business climate.
