Got this pencil drawing from 36 years ago back from my art teacher Mrs. Thorn, only thing left from that time period as everything else was either given away or lost in a rain accident later. Brings back memories and yet definitely reminds me I need to revisit pencil if I can again.

Blender heads, go get some free brushes. Type '0' in for the amount and get them for your own use. Damage Brush set, all procedural.

This is a set of 10 procedural brushes using Brush Textures and Brush Mask Textures for painting damage into a stencil, or you can use them to erase alpha from a top layer image texture to reveal a texture underneath.

Not too much going on, but I did get somewhere with this idea. Instead of switching back and forth to the Compositor to paste and copy gradients into color ramp nodes directly, we have an interface in the 3d view paint tab to create and manage them and copy from there to the tool in the tool tab.

I scratched an itch, but it's as far as I can go without being a real blender dev.

Worked up a morning warmup and recorded it then decided to speed it up and talk over.

Nothing crazy, mostly default Draw brush with default falloff - I'm working on a black canvas about 2048x2048 and I start with GPencil to line up the shapes ...

We can make our own Alpha Mask Brushes in a Sequence from right here in Blender to use in BlenderPaint (Blender Texture Paint Mode).
