Before & After: A Mid-Century Bathroom Gets a Classic Refresh
I'll admit it... I have a soft spot for mid-century bathrooms. The turquoise tile, the built-in vanity, and the character you just don't see in newer homes tell a story.
But for this homeowner, the space was starting to feel tired and no longer matched how they wanted to live in their home.
Their goal was simple: create a bathroom that feels timeless, brighter, easier to maintain, and more in line with a classic design aesthetic.
We replaced the aging finishes with clean wall detailing, a custom vanity, modern lighting, a spacious walk-in shower, and a neutral color palette that will look just as good years from now as it does today.
What I love most about renovation isn't changing a home's character. It's helping a home evolve with the people living in it.
Would you have kept the original turquoise tile or made the change?
