After years of grinding, learning, and perfecting the craft, I’m proud to finally open the doors to Mountain East Stonework & Hardscape.
Growing up in New Hampshire, I learned early on that out here in New England, you don't just build for looks—you build for the seasons. I spent my 20s out in Lake Tahoe, living the ski bum dream, but I wasn't just chasing powder. I was putting in the work, bouncing between hardscaping crews, custom stonework projects, landscaping, and even managing a plant nursery. I’ve seen the inside of every part of this industry, from the lsndscaping side to the art of masonry and hardscape.
Now, at 40, I’ve traded the Tahoe peaks for the Maine coast, settling right here in York. I’ve reached that chapter where I know exactly what works and, more importantly, exactly what doesn't. I’ve seen the shortcuts some guys take, and frankly, that’s not how we do things at Mountain East. I started this business to offer the Seacoast and surrounding areas a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented option for top-shelf outdoor living.
Whether it’s a fieldstone wall that looks like it’s been there a century, a crisp new paver patio for summer BBQs, a beautiful front walkway and stairs, and custom veneer work to dress up the foundation, I’m on it.
