Sharing the photos shared by The Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of PA and one of the members George Rothlingshofer.

We had great weather for the three weeks on site and are honored to be a part of this restoration with Horizon Construction Group and working with Greiner Industries. The crew should be wrapping up on site tomorrow morning with our portion of the work.

The Kintersburg Covered Bridge is the only Howe truss bridge in Indiana County, PA. Built originally in 1877, it is a 68 foot structure that carried vehicular traffic until the late 1970's.

Lancaster County Timber Frames will be picking the skeleton of the bridge into place on its abutments next week. The roof rafters and floor decking will be installed after that. All timbers being replaced are Southern Yellow Pine and the floor decking is White Oak - all from American Timber.

Many times over the years, clients have become friends. Sometimes, we even get the blessing and honor to build a second home for them. Craig and Angie Long were this type of client. Every detail was carefully thought out for this retirement home. Douglas Fir timbers for the exterior areas and White Oak timbers for the interior. They had even saved a sample brace from their 2002 home and we were able to incorporate it into this frame.

We were excited to host the open house for The Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Society of PA. This week, the crew was on site preparing to put the bridge together. Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we install the rehabilitated bridge!

The barn rehabilitation for The Barns at Wolf Trap is moving right along with plans to have the s**ce open Late Fall. We'll be on site finishing up the timber installation next week.

We can't wait to see the finished s**ce! We are grateful for the relationship with everyone at Wolf Trap Foundation and L.F. Jennings.

The Barns at Wolf Trap will open a fully renovated third historic barn, disassembled and moved earlier this year from its longtime home in Loudoun County, this fall.
