Assistant Estimator/Project Manager (Full-time)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assisting with estimating and project management.
-Know how read & understand drawings & specifications.
-Determine responsibility of a scope of work per drawings and specifications.
-Conduct online takeoffs to be submitted to vendors.
-Request quotes from vendors for materials.
-Verify vendor’s bill of material.
-Ability to effectively communicate and work with clients, contractors and vendors.
- Must understand the NEC National Electric Codes - educating yourself on updating of electrical codes and products on the market.
- Must have reliable transportation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Must have field electrical experience.
-Must be a motivated individual, trustworthy and have excellent work habits.
-Trade/High School Education.
-Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, word, excel, adobe, and various computer skills.
-Ability to learn and use Accubid Estimating software.
-A self-starter who is independently driven to succeed.
-Aptitude for math.
-Able to form relationships with customers.
-Ability to become a team member.
-Must have clean criminal record to gain access to customer properties for site walks and progress meetings.
