ANOTHER PATIO PROJECT IN THE BOOKS!

Well, we did it again! Another patio completed, another happy outdoor space, and another reason our backs are questioning our career choices! 😂💪

This latest project involved installing a beautiful new patio area with decorative pea gravel accents, carefully marrying everything into an existing enclosed patio.

The challenge? Making the new patio look like it belonged with the old one.
With some careful planning, attention to detail, a little sweat, and probably a few words we can't repeat on Facebook, we brought everything together for a clean, seamless finish!

Whether you're looking to expand an existing patio, install a brand-new outdoor living area, or finally do something about that backyard you've been ignoring since 2017, give us a call!

Another one in the books — and this one took Tom B Landscape & Design on the road!🚛🔨
For this project, we packed up the tools, hooked up the camper, traveled out of town, and made a nearby campground our home base while we got to work.
We installed a custom-built shadowbox privacy fence, built from the ground up on site, along with custom gates built right there to fit the property perfectly. No cookie-cutter panels and no “close enough.” Every section was built, measured, leveled, and fitted specifically for this job.
There’s something pretty cool about finishing a long day building fence, heading back to the campground, firing up dinner at the camper, getting some sleep, and doing it all over again the next morning. 😂
We may be based in Youngstown, but apparently our tape measures, saws, and questionable sense of humor travel pretty well.

**Local or out of town — if the job makes sense, we’ll make it happen.**

No job too big or small — and sometimes, no job too far away. 💪

Message us for an estimate and let’s get your next project on the schedule!

Now, we will enjoy the rest of our stay with bonfire, fishing, hobo pies, and whatever else we manage to get into!

Another landscape refresh completed!
This property got a clean new look with a few simple changes that made a BIG difference.
✅ Switched out the old black mulch for fresh premium brown mulch
✅ Cut in brand-new, crisp edge lines
✅ Added beautiful Summer Crush Hydrangeas for some extra color
✅ Extended the rear landscape beds to create a fuller, more finished look
✅ Cleaned everything up and brought the entire landscape back to life
Sometimes you don’t need to completely redesign your landscaping — a fresh edge, new mulch, a few carefully placed plants, and some bed adjustments can completely change the appearance of your property.
If your landscaping is looking tired, overgrown, or just needs something different, give us a call @ 330-509-8713!
From small landscape refreshes to complete property transformations, patios, fences, retaining walls and more — no job is too big or too small.

Small job? Yes. Easy job? Not even close. 😂
This little Westport paver patio took some serious patience and precision to properly marry the existing concrete slab to the deck. We had to dial in the pitch just right for drainage, then excavate roughly 11 inches to make room for a solid, properly compacted 304 stone base.
It may be a small patio, but we don’t believe in “good enough.” If we’re building it, we’re building it right. 💪 — the next phase is tearing out the existing concrete walkway and replacing it with a matching Westport paver walkway to bring the whole area together.

Another custom fence project wrapped up — and this one turned out beautiful. 🔨🌲
We built this 6-foot-tall, stick-built cedar privacy fence from the ground up to completely enclose the patio area, giving the homeowners the privacy they were looking for while adding a clean, custom look to the property.
This project features:
• Custom stick-built cedar construction
• 100% privacy around the patio
• Custom-built gate with upgraded hardware
• Great Lakes stone border around the fence for a sharp, finished appearance
• Built specifically to fit the property — not a cookie-cutter installation
And one thing pictures can’t show you… the smell of fresh-cut cedar. There’s nothing quite like it. 🌲 If you know, you know!
Whether you're looking to add privacy, secure your backyard, enclose a patio, replace an old fence, or have something completely custom built, Tom B Landscape & Design can make it happen.

Shown below are some before and afters, after a tornado ripped through this area last month

🌪️Tornado: 1 — Arborvitaes: Still Standing. 🌲💪

After a tornado ripped through the area, 27 arborvitaes—each roughly 25 feet tall—were left leaning heavily and looking like they might be a total loss.Instead of firing up the chainsaws and calling it a day, we went to work trying to save them.
We were able to secure the trees and begin the process of carefully pulling and straightening them back into position. With trees this large, it’s not an overnight fix—it takes the right equipment, a little patience, and a whole lot of persuasion.
There’s still a process ahead, but saving 27 mature trees instead of replacing them can make a huge difference for the property owner.

Storm damage? Leaning trees? Fence damage? Landscape cleanup?
Give us a call. Before you assume it needs torn out or replaced, let us see if we can save it.

We gave one of last year’s projects a little upgrade!
We recently added Canadian Blue Stone around the retaining border we installed last year, giving it a clean, finished look—and making life a whole lot easier when it’s time to cut the grass. Now the tractor can cruise around the border without the operator needing NASCAR-level driving skills. 😂🚜

It looks better, makes mowing easier, cuts down on trimming, and adds another nice accent to the landscape. Sometimes a little stone goes a long way!
