Got this herringbone table and bench delivered today. I really love the way this turned out. This table and bench is all red oak, from the floor to the top. That makes it very heavy, but very strong and durable. Thank you to the Woodard family for letting me build you a table.

Two dining tables working in the Sawdustry shop. One of them messaged me wanting a table and then she convinced her sister to order one too. I’m very excited about these.

Delivered and installed this beast of a table to the Jesse Puckett family this evening. He had the table base made by a friend and wanted me to make the top. It is 1 3/4” thick red oak and it is 4ft wide x 8.5ft long. Oh and it weighs about 200lbs.

I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, and I’m sorry. My first year teaching was crazy but fantastic. I love my job. I do miss building for you though. So I am ready to start taking orders again. So please think of me if you want a new dining table, coffee table or side tables.

These hand made all cedar shutters were made for a customer that can no longer purchase them. That means a discount for you. I’m just trying to get my money back. I’ve got 2 sets of the big ones, they are for a 63” wide window that is 71” tall at its peak. The medium set is for a 35 1/2” wide window 36 1/2” tall. The smallest set is for a 23 1/4” wide window and 36 1/2 tall. I’m asking $600 for the whole set, but I’m willing to separate them if you only want/need certain pieces.

Well I guess it’s officially official. I am the new Construction Trades Instructor at Canadian Valley Technology Center. This has been a dream job of mine forever. This is what my entire working career has been building up to. From me going through this program all those years ago, working my way through college so I could apply for teaching positions, and to even running my own carpentry business. It’s all been building to this career. I am beyond excited that I’ve been given this opportunity.

Don’t worry though. You will still be seeing Sawdustry Design furniture. So if you have an item you want me to build I can still do that. You will also be seeing more stuff from the Sawdustry Wife.

I’m so glad I was able to help out a local food truck. Their previous menu boards had blown off in this Oklahoma wind and broke. I made them some pretty heavy duty menu boards. Hopefully these menus will last them until they finally get their brick and mortar store. The Red Bird Coffee Cart
