Post op follow ups happened with the cardiologist and cardiovascular surgeon yesterday and today.
He got an A+++ for healing 😂. They say he's "ahead of the curve". He indeed has "Pump Head Syndrome" from being on the bypass machine, so the brain fog and irritability are most likely being caused by that. The lightheadedness he is experiencing may be due to that as well, as cardio doesn't think it's his meds. He has been given the green light to drive when he feels clear headed enough.

You all have been amazingly supportive and we cannot thank you enough! I can't believe it's been 2 weeks. Tom is healing very well. He is making great progress. It's actually pretty amazing. Being people of faith, we are giving thanks daily. And we thank you, for supporting us, for praying, for the encouragement. He is definitely itching to get back to work. Soon, Grasshopper, soon.

Tom is doing VERY well. We've had several people involved in his care state how remarkable it truly is.Headed home either later today or tomorrow, as long as he keeps doing how he's doing. Thank you for your prayers, thoughts and well wishes.

As we get closer to the end of day 1 post op, I wanted to let you all know Tom is doing well. He sat in the chair for most of the day which is the goal for today. Tomorrow, we start walking! ♥️

Hi friends! I've debated posting this, but I'm just not a private person and I know there are many who want to know. Tom is having open heart surgery this week. We have some amazing friends who will be taking over some of our landscape clients, more details on that will be sent later today. I will create a group chat on Facebook Messenger for those who would like updates quicker than what I post on here. If you are close to us and would like to be on that chat, please let me know and I'll add you. More general info will be posted here and more specific and frequent info in the group chat. We will be a one income family for a while, and many of you know that I am back in school while working full-time+, so those offers to help will be accepted 🤣. God is good allll the time, and when I tell you the miracle that this was found when it was, and all the pieces put together, it truly is a gift from the Lord! Hello all! Well the Mr. & Mrs. It's a BEAUTIFUL Lawn had quite an adventure of late. You see, the Mrs. planned a quick get away for a mini cruise for the Mr. as a way to give him a quick break from all his hard work. We left on Monday, and were due back Wednesday morning. Figuring we would be back and hunkered down with our kids before the worst of the weather would hit. Well, on Tuesday afternoon, we were informed that the port through which we had left was closed. We were then told we should dock early Friday. The Coast Guard was not able to clear us until Friday afternoon, due to a sunken ship that was being investigated and hadn't yet been cleared away.

That said, we are back on land now and headed back to work tomorrow! We are safe, we had a good time even with all of the uncertainty and stress. The crew did an amazing job keeping us safe and happy. Super recommend Margaritaville at Sea !!!
