One of the biggest mistakes I see in remodels?
Clients will spend thousands on high-end materialā¦
Imported tile. Custom finishes. Premium selections.
But then try to save on labor.
Hereās the problem.
Material doesnāt install itself.
You can buy the best tile in the worldā¦
but if the person installing it hasnāt worked with high-end material before, doesnāt understand layout, doesnāt understand leveling, doesnāt understand prepā¦
Youāre taking a risk.
Thereās a reason some installers charge less.
Sometimes itās because theyāre newer.
Sometimes itās because theyāre still learning.
Sometimes itās because theyāre guessing and hoping it works out.
And when youāre dealing with expensive material, guessing isnāt an option.
Itās like handing a Ferrari to someone whoās never driven one before.
You donāt just pay for labor.
You pay for experience.
You pay for problem-solving.
You pay for someone who knows what to look for before it becomes a costly mistake.
When youāre investing in your home, the craftsmanship matters just as much as the material.
Because when itās done right, you enjoy it for years.
When itās done wrong, you pay for it twice.
