Fan failures and frozen evaporator coils seemed to be the theme of the day today here at Ae**us Services.

Started the day tracking down cooling issues on multiple refrigerators. One unit had a failed evaporator fan motor that prevented proper airflow, while another had a heavily iced evaporator that required diagnosis and corrective action before it could be returned to service. We also diagnosed a faulty control board on another appliance and made a few pit stops for some long-time customers who needed a hand with odds and ends.

One thing we take seriously is verification. Anybody can throw parts at a problem, but when we put a refrigeration system back into service, we don't just close the doors and leave. We monitor cabinet temperatures and track the rate of temperature drop over a specific period of time based on the cubic footage of the refrigerator. That's why you'll see the thermometer hanging on the door and me checking the clock. The goal is to verify that the unit is actually recovering and operating properly before we call the job complete.

It's the extra steps that make the difference, and it's why we pride ourselves on being thorough.

Sorry for the late post—just wrapping up another busy day here at Ae**us Services LLC!

The day started in Kimbolton with a clothes dryer that wouldn't heat. After some troubleshooting, I found a faulty centrifugal switch preventing the heating circuit from engaging. Once identified, we were able to get the customer pointed in the right direction and back on track.

Next up was some electrical troubleshooting to track down a faulty breaker that had been causing intermittent issues. Sometimes the problem isn't the appliance at all—it's the power feeding it.

From there, I worked on a stackable washer/dryer combo that was probably older than I am. It was experiencing control issues, but after some diagnostics and adjustments, I was able to restore proper operation and save the customer from replacing a machine that's still got plenty of life left in it.

One of my favorite stops of the day was checking out an old refrigerator that was considered top-of-the-line when it was purchased. It's always interesting seeing how appliances were built decades ago. They definitely don't make them quite like they used to.

The day wrapped up with preventative maintenance and coil cleaning at a local bar and grill to help keep equipment running efficiently and reduce the chances of unexpected downtime.

Most importantly, every customer I met today was absolutely wonderful. Long days are a lot easier when you get to work with great people, and I'm incredibly grateful for the support this community continues to show Ae**us Services.

They sure don't make them like they used to.

Picked up this old General Electric refrigerator with one goal in mind: bring it back to life.

Just look at the construction—heavy steel, mechanical controls, and built during an era when appliances were designed to last for decades, not just long enough to make it past the warranty period.

It's definitely rough around the edges, but the bones are there, and that's what makes projects like this so exciting.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be tearing it down, cleaning it up, repairing what needs repaired, and restoring it as close to its former glory as possible. We'll be posting updates along the way so everyone can follow the journey from rusty relic to working piece of history.

Just a small glimpse into yesterday here at Ae**us Services LLC.

One stop had us diagnosing and repairing a commercial laundry machine. The next stop was a Whirlpool dryer getting some much-needed attention. Then it was on to a Patriot commercial deep fryer, followed by evaporator fan troubleshooting and residential refrigerator repair.

From commercial kitchens to laundry equipment to residential refrigerator repair, no two days ever look the same—and honestly, that's one of the things I love most about this business.

Building something from the ground up isn't always easy, but seeing customers happy and equipment back up and running makes every long day worth it.

And for those who seem to be following along with every post lately... thanks for the support. It's always nice to know people are keeping an eye on what we're up to. 😏

🚐🔧 No matter what life throws our way, Ae**us Services has your back.

Yesterday, our primary service truck decided it needed some attention of its own. But when customers are counting on us, we don't stop—we adapt. We loaded up the old service vehicle and got right back to work because taking care of our customers comes first.

Today's lineup included:

✅ Dryer repair with a failed belt and broken tensioner pulley, restoring normal operation.

✅ A stop on the way to Blue Rock for a dryer with a faulty drive motor that had the customer completely down.

✅ A trip to McConnelsville where a washing machine lid remained locked due to a plugged pressure hose. A little troubleshooting and cleaning restored normal operation.

✅ Finished out the day helping a longtime customer with some minor plumbing repairs.

No matter the setback, whether it's our equipment or yours, we're committed to showing up, finding solutions, and getting things back up and running.
