Horticultural Services was started in 2006 by Kevin Thompson and Nick Marquiss, two Zionsville friends and students. We started out as a simple lawn maintenance company in the Austin Oaks subdivision in Zionsville. Nick graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington with degrees in Management and Entrepreneurship. Kevin graduated from Purdue University in West L

afayette with a degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design. The business has since grown to offer a wide variety of services including landscape maintenance, landscape design and installation, hardscape design and installation, water feature design and installation and more in the central Indiana area. All of our lawn maintenance services including mowing and fertilizing/chemicals are subcontracted out to another local business, however, we still offer these services under the LAND name.
