Had to go do a little tear out today so the painters could do there thing had my poor baby in a bind with so much weight and I had my son Jimmy A Davis with me pulling a trailer full I had 2 days scheduled to do it we knocked it out by 1 but dang that truck was loaded turned that 6in lift into a 2

Just when I thought I had seen it all someone goes and thinsets felt down and tiles over it in a house that isn't very old. There are alot of people calling there selves tile installers but I am here to tell you around here there are very few real ones the rest do this dumb crap but hey at least it came up easy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't let just anyone tile your floors and dang sure don't let them build your showers call a pro who specializes in flooring and custom shower construction Superior showers and floors 318 214 7215 get it done right so you aren't throwing money in the trash

Repeat customers are the best and I have been working on this beautiful home doing different projects over almost a decade you can't find better people to work with then these. From installing hardwood flooring throughout this massive home to redoing the play room as there kids and grandkids got older to building them a beautiful fully custom bathroom that's magazine worthy plus several other projects over the years now we are back to update the laundry/entryway and reconfiguring the fireplace which I almost hated to do. The custom build on the mantle and surround was so beautifully done so I made sure I put all the care I could into using the old but also bringing in the new look the homeowners wanted. Here's a breakdown of what we did
Took out the old Mardi Gras tile and replaced it with new wood plank tile
Removed the custom bench and put in 2 new wainscoting boxes
Installed a new washer valve box and plumbing the old ones leaked
And now they are ready for paint
Next we cut out most of the old surround on the fireplace
Used large format tile to give it a whole new look
Installed a new electric fireplace
Hope everyone likes it as much as they do and we have already lined up a couple new projects to come later Here's the before and afters
