The TRAN SAM House rises with the quiet confidence of a British manor translated into the heat of Da Nang. Its lines are disciplined, almost aristocratic, as if shaped by a long tradition of proportion and restraint, yet the tropical air softens every edge. Light moves through the home the way it might through an old townhouse in Kensington—controlled, deliberate, never in a hurry—while courtyards and open passages pull the architecture firmly back into its Vietnamese setting. The result is a residence that feels both familiar and foreign: a house that carries the composure of British domestic heritage, but breathes with the openness and warmth of the coast. It stands not as an imitation, but as a reinterpretation—an elegant collision of climates, cultures, and architectural memory.

Nestled within a minimalist yet sophisticated design, this spa is a perfect fusion of modern aesthetics and natural soul. The gentle architectural lines, warm wood textures, and meticulously engineered lighting create an immediate sense of tranquility from the moment guests step inside.

The softly lit corridors, paired with elegant wooden partitions, create a seamless spatial flow that guides guests through a curated journey of relaxation. In the communal areas, neutral-toned upholstered furniture harmonizes with the overall ambiance to ensure maximum comfort. Subtle decorative accents—lush greenery, fine art, and organic elements—add a touch of refinement without compromising the space's minimalist luxury.

Each zone is thoughtfully designed to optimize the guest experience. Private massage suites, draped in soft silk curtains, offer a secluded and serene sanctuary. The interplay of natural wood contours and a warm, amber glow evokes a profound sense of balance and restorative warmth.

"There will never be a great architect or great architecture without a great client."

"Building on our previous successes, this villa is a refined fusion of contemporary architecture and minimalist style. While upholding the spirit of a luxurious and modern living space, the design remains understated—offering a warm, comfortable, and fully functional sanctuary for the homeowner.

From the exterior, the villa impresses with its sharp lines and a cohesive yet fluid layout. Expansive glass panels are intelligently integrated to not only maximize natural light but also create a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. The sloped roof, combined with bold architectural contours, creates a silhouette that is both grounded and ethereal.

Inside, meticulous attention to detail is evident in every corner. By playing with light and shadow and utilizing premium materials such as wood, glass, and natural stone, the space feels prestigious yet inviting. The lighting system is subtly engineered to serve its purpose while acting as an artistic focal point.

In approaching this project, our goal was to create more than just a residence; we aimed to craft a true architectural masterpiece. A home should be a reflection of the owner's style, personality, and passion. This philosophy is what defines the success of this project—a space that feels 'just right,' complete in every sense yet sophisticated in every detail."

POOLBAR HOI AN

"Architecture is not an inspirational business, it's a rational procedure to do sensible and hopefully beautiful things; that's all."

Nestled along the poetic Thu Bon River, the Poolbar project at Moire Hoi An (formerly Bay Resort Hoi An) enjoys an exceptional location. This inherent advantage laid a successful foundation, allowing our architects to craft a design that feels both effortless and purposeful.
Inspired by the tropical essence of Hoi An—its swaying coconut palms and lush greenery—we introduced a 'Tropical Modernism' touch to soften the rigid architectural lines and warm color palette of the heritage town. By utilizing materials like oak, rattan, and polished concrete, we defined a clear direction for this vital element of the Moire Hoi An master plan.

Every seating arrangement is thoughtfully oriented towards the river and the resort's core, utilizing clever spatial navigation. The visual axis of the pool culminates at the open-concept bar. With its oak timber structure and polished concrete counters, the bar serves as a gentle focal point—a relaxed, unforced conclusion to a serene landscape journey.
