Back in 2019, we framed this home for with a design. This home used Simpson Strong-Walls to achieve its sleek design and maintain structural standards; excellent use of modern materials. It’s so cool driving by seeing it finished up. Talk about a night and day difference. @ Vancouver, British Columbia

I was reminded recently by that there is a difference between specs, and details. Anyone can spec a beautiful fir or marble surface, but it’s those that pay attention to detail and keep 1/4” reveals within a 1/16” that sets our work apart and makes us special. Always remind yourself of the value you bring. @ Buntzen Bay

This was fun to build, and even more fun to ride! Here’s a little weekend warrior project where we converted an unused yard into a well used mini-ramp using all recycled 2-by materials and old 3/4” form-ply for the structure; even 40 schedule steel coping for good measure. Here’s to pushing the carpentry trade beyond custom homes and doing something a little fun. @ Delta, British Columbia
