Safe and easy way to unclog your drains:

1. Pour one cup of baking soda, followed with one cup of vinegar.

2. Wait 5 minutes and flush drain with 2 cups of hot water.

3. Repeat as required.

Tips for Cleaning Laminate Flooring:

If the floor is not dirty or doesn't have a lot of stains after sweeping, use diluted baby shampoo with warm water or solutions that do not contain ammonia and caustic solutions. Follow this up with a sponge or a mop, then a dry cloth to finish it off.

Moisture is the main reason why this type of flooring gets damaged or becomes bulgy. Make sure that the floor is left dry after each cleaning session.

Did you know that using the wrong laundry detergent can actually damage your washing machine?

>> If using a top-loader detergent in a front-loader, the bubbles may overflow into the circuit board.

>> Front-loader detergents are never to be used when hand washing. It may cause damage to your hands or skin.

>> Using front-loader detergents with top-loaders may result in inadequately washed clothes. You will probably need to add more detergent which is a waste of money.

>> Hand washing detergents have the most lather. It helps preserve both the fabric and skin of the person washing. If this type of detergent is used for either type of washing machine, a large amount of foam may overflow into the circuits and cause unnecesary damage.

Does your Airconditioning Unit feel like there is hardly any air coming out?

Or if there is air, it's not cold enough?

Does the unit or the air it produces smell weird?

A lot of people think that taking out the aircon filter and simply washing it is sufficient.

There is more to it than you think...

In each aircon unit, there are 2 filters. The one that you take out yourself (the small skinny filter) and the "primary" air filter located behind the skinny filter which is only accessible when dismantled by a professional (licensed technician).

Apart from the filters, you will also need to clean the compressor, the unit located outside.
