Just want to share something. ๐
I was cleaning on our โrecovery areaโ today to pick out some dried leaves fell on the plants due to heavy rain and strong wind yesterday. Then, I accidentally pulled out including this Echeveria Agavoides Shallot (yes! napadilat mata ko nung nangyari โto ๐ณ) but after that, this what surprises me.. new roots have grown! ๐
When and how? I received this cute Echeveria last August 27th with no new roots yet. Here are some steps when planting Korean succulents.
1. Unwrap the Korean succulent from the tissue then let it set on the tray and place it into the empty pot or tissue on it (just like doing the air-dry method). Place it on a bright shaded area. No direct sunlight please.
2. Leave it for 5 days just to let the plant adjust and adapt on the environment. While doing this expect that there will be slight changes on the appearance of the plant.
3. After 5 days, you can now plant it in your favorite pot! In this case, we use Premium Soil Mix from Masitera. Placed it on a bright shaded area then slowly introduce it on a indirect sunlight. NO WATERING for 1 week, kahapon lang siya nadiligan dahil umulan.
And so, this happens... ๐๐
PS. This is based on our planting experience and a little research and advises from the experts. We are still also learning. There are many sites you may also study at. Remember, learning new things may also be a great wealth. ๐๐ป
Oh. Hello, cat!
