About Morne Slabbert - Owner
Morne was born in Port Elizabeth, going on to live and work across South Africa and abroad while gaining 20 years of experience in the industry both as a tradesman and project manager. In 2017 he moved back to his hometown with his family, establishing MS Projects two years later. Timeline of experience
• 2000, C.T. Projects (Johannesburg): Building executive homes in Dainfern, Hartebeespoort Dam and Kyalami.
• 2005, Self-employed (Johannesburg): Home alterations and additions
• 2008, Pfeifer (Kwa-zulu Natal): Whilst busy doing a factory revamp in Kwazulu Natal for MTT Structures he was approached by Pfeifer, a German Engineering firm that was in charge of the roof structure for Moses Mabhida Stadium. His task was to supply competent staff to work hand in hand with the erecting of the roof structure. It was here where he learnt working with the Swiss that precision and quality can’t be cut short.
• 2009, Fibre-Wound (): Construction in the Mining Sector
• 2011, Emergency Project (Mali, West Africa): Tasked with saving the production plant from failure by building new residue tanks within the old ones.
• 2013, MNK Projects (South Africa): Working on the Curro Schools Projects, travelling the country building schools with extremely tight times frames.
• 2019, MS Projects (Port Elizabeth): Established MS Projects to bring quality and vision to the domestic and commercial sector - ultimate aim of bringing the client’s dream idea to life.
