Over the past few years, we’ve carried out a range of work for Bodmin Town Council, with this being our latest project. These doors were in serious need of some care and attention.
We started by priming with Zinsser BIN, then sanded everything back and carried out a full fill using wood filler. After another thorough sand, a second coat of Zinsser was applied.
Next came two coats of grey undercoat, followed by a further sand using 240-grit for a smooth finish. To complete the transformation, we applied two coats of Teknos Futura 90 in black.
The result — a complete revival

Before & After – Haven, Port Isaac
Taking advantage of a break in the weather, we completed the exterior of Haven in Port Isaac in just a couple of days.
The walls were thoroughly scrubbed with fungicide and pressure washed to remove dirt, algae and surface contaminants before painting. Once fully prepped and dry, we applied WRX Masonry paint to give the property a fresh, durable finish ready to face the Cornish elements.
A great transformation and another property protected for the seasons ahead.

Before and after- Roseleigh lounge renovation

A complete transformation of the Roseleigh lounge, creating a bright, modern living space with clean lines and practical design.

Removal of the window and replaced with new patio doors, complete removal of sub floor and rebuilt for a new solid base for the karndean finished flooring. New wood fire installed by . 2 new bespoke cupboards painted in Teknos Futura 40 (F&B Pigeon), walls and ceilings in Tikkurila Optiva 3 (F&B Wimborne White).

We’ve finally started lifting the floor coverings upstairs, and the transformation in this room feels massive.

The tired flooring has been replaced with a modern engineered oak, adding warmth and character straight away. We also removed the old ceiling to expose the original beams, finishing them with Osmo Raw oil to bring out those natural “silvered” tones.

The colour palette stays true to the rest of the project with Wimborne White and Shades White — but this time we’ve added a touch of Farrow & Ball Pigeon on the panelling and fireplace for some extra depth.

Our Roseleigh renovation is coming together beautifully 🤍

This room started life as a dark storage area with an old staircase tucked in the corner. We removed the staircase, added panelling and exposed beams, and replaced an unused door with a new window to bring in natural light.

It’s now becoming a cosy downstairs bedroom connected to the main living space. We also restored the original Delabole slate floor and brought the old fireplace back to life to keep some of the house’s heritage ✨

It's been a busy Exterior season for us here in .isaac . And it's still not over, slowly but surely making our way all the way up church hill.
