We decommissioned some chemical bulk storage this week due to factory closure / relocation.

We removed 13,500 ltrs of Hydrochloric Acid from the bulk storage tank, then flushed all the acid dosing lines, pumps, injectors and lines. The system can now be removed by others.

8,300 ltrs of Caustic Soda was also removed from its bulk tank and the pump set and all lines through to the process plant were also flushed. Pump removed and prepared for shipping.

There were three additional 1000ltr bulk stores with acid, cracking agent and industrial cleaning solution. All three of these were pumped out and cleaned. The bunds were all shovelled out to remove debris then cleaned down for removal. All dosing lines through to the plant were also flushed with water.

Finally the underground bund tank from the chemical area was pumped.

Everything put into IBC’s ready to be sent for disposal.

Domus III hangers at Farnborough Airport.
We completed full strength testing, tightness testing and purge to Natural Gas of the new gas installation inside the hangers.

The Domus III hangers are a fantastic investment for the airfield and will increase hanger facilities for private jets.

It was a tough couple of days work with extreme temperatures but the project was completed on time and all certification now handed over.

We recently installed a water main at a large recycling Center. The water main provides water to flood the shredder and conveyor system in the event of a fire. One of the biggest causes of fires at recycling plants is disposable vapes, of which 5 Million find their way into the waste stream each year in the U.K.

A case study about a water main we installed at a waste recycling centre in the West Midlands. The main feeds water to the process shredder.
