Working alongside the Friends of Upper Lesmurdie Falls again to do a bit more Erosion Control and Water speed reduction. Water can be destructive in large volumes and high speeds, these rocks will help to slow the water down and protect the land around it. We also reshaped some of the creek beds to guide the water and prevent it from wearing away the hillside over Winter.

Crisp Landscapes is passionate about sustainability and working within the local community.
I was given a unique opportunity to work with the Friends of Upper Lesmurdie Falls group and the Rivers and Estuaries Department to help with their Erosion Control Project.
We moved rocks and boulders into a creek bed way up the top of the stream that runs down into the Lesmurdie Falls. The rocks stabilise the banks and slow down water, to prevent erosion and land movement.
I am grateful to be given the opportunity to work on these projects, and help protect our waterways.

This client was having trouble with their lawn not getting enough sun along the fence line.

Our solution was to pave a narrow section, which reduced the lawn space, but now provides a more attractive space and room for a water feature!

Do you have a space that needs an update?
This client wanted their rear driveway to be widened, so that it provided better access.

We pulled up the old pavers, and re-laid them with some new pavers. It was important we made the new and old pavers work together and look cohesive.

Straight-Curve Corten Steel is a super versatile edging system, and it looks great!

We used it on this project in Lesmurdie to create a barrier between the lawn and the garden beds. The client called to discuss adding this in after a few months of trying to keep the lawn out of the gardens. Now it’s easy to maintain, all you need is a whipper snip along the edge and the lawns are finished.

How’s this for something unique? A touch of Europe here in the Bickley Valley!
This was definitely a labour of love, installing a stunning fanned cobblestone path looking out across the Hainault vineyards. One of the my most enjoyable jobs to date.

On the rare occasion that we can’t do a job, Crisp Landscapes can organise trusted sub contractors to do the work with us.
Here we came through and removed the existing lawn that had crept into the garden beds and then prepped for the curbing to be done. The curbing guys came in and sorted that for us, and we finished off. We brought in lawn sand after the curbing went in, to help improve the lawn quality along the edge. Once the lawn was taken care of, we spread 20 cubic metres of mulch to tidy up the gardens too!

Back at Hainault Winery again, replacing the original coffee rock garden edging with beautiful Toodyay stone. This really ties the driveway and house together.
Really enjoying doing stonework at the moment, big thanks to the guys at Hainault for working with me to bring this to life!
