Concrete International Magazine's August 2024 edition highlights the innovative construction of the Forth Atlanta by Brasfield and Gorrie in Atlanta, GA. Lail Bridge Forms was recognized as the primary form supplier for this distinctive Diagrid structure.

"The project presented unique challenges due to varying floor-to-floor elevations, particularly on the lower and top levels. To address this issue, additional bolt holes were incorporated into the form system to accommodate different angles. After the lower floors were completed, adjustments were made to ensure the forms could effectively function on standard floors. The roof level also required modifications to adapt to the elevation changes. Lail Bridge's expertise in engineering and constructing the forms played a crucial role in resolving these complexities, ultimately ensuring the project's success."

LBF provided 110 L.F. of 84" ø Column Forms in 12', 10', 8', & 1' sections. LBF will manufacture forms to the lengths YOU want.....not the lengths we tell you to buy.

Interesting note about the Jones Brothers & Lail Bridge Forms relationship. My father, Gene Lail, called Jones Borthers his customer until his passing in 2014. I am honored to carry on my father's relationship with Jerry Britton and Jones Brothers.

For over 65 years my father and I have been serving the forming and shoring needs of heavy civil contractors from Maine to Hawaii and all point in-between. Not bad for a couple of guys from Tennessee.

Lail Bridge Forms is excited to have worked with Cape Romain Contractors on the recently completed Noisette Creek Pedestrian Bridge(previously known as the Battery Park Pedestrian Bridge). The project won the APWA(American Public Works Association) State and National Award and the Pile Driving Contractors Association Project of the year.

Lail Bridge Forms provided the shore towers and all calculations for placement of the steel arches spanning 238' from foundation to foundation.

"Support towers were installed using 24” steel pipe piling, and a shoring system designed by Lail Bridge Forms, Inc. Jasper, TN. A total of four towers were needed to align, support, and allow for the fitting and welding of the four connection points. Once the individual pieces were installed, surveyed for location and elevation, it required two welders approximately 72 hours each to complete the connection. Once all the welding was completed the towers were lowered to an elevation to allow for the blasting and painting of the welded areas with a 3-coat painting system by TJC Painting Contractors, Inc. of Chester, SC. "

Lail Bridge Forms has enjoyed working closely with the Brasfield & Gorrie Team on the Parcel B Project in Atlanta, GA.

One set of forms to pour the A Shapes and then it is inverted to pour the V Shapes.

Want until I post pictures of the crazy corner form getting ready to be poured next week.

For several years now, utility contractors such as Phillips and Jordan and J.W. Didado have enjoyed the simplicity of using the frame/template to align the columns being poured on top steel casings. With multiple uses per project, the labor savings alone pays for the frame. Of course we manufacture the columns as well. This particular frame adjust for columns from 4'ø to 9'ø. Also supplied to this project are frames adjustable for columns from 9'ø to 14'ø along with columns from 5'ø to 11'ø.

Lail Bridge Forms - Project Coordinator

Lail Bridge Forms is seeking to hire a full time Project Coordinator.

The candidate should possess a desire to learn the inner-workings of our fast-paced manufacturing company and have an interest in the construction industry. A college degree is required. Must have excellent computer skills and be fluent in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and some CAD knowledge is beneficial.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills and have demonstrated project management skills on their resume.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project timelines—via an integrated software—reviewing manufacturing progress on site, and maintaining a current status report. Additional responsibilities include detailed job cost tracking and reporting, issuing purchase orders for materials and coordinating freight for all projects.

Other administrative duties should be expected. The Project Coordinator will support a team of sales and engineering staff and be responsible for filing/organizing, managing calendars, and website/social media updates on occasion.

This full time position reports directly to the company owner and has potential for growth within the company. Starting salary is $35-40k. This position is located in Jasper, TN, about 25 miles outside downtown Chattanooga.
