Let talk about the benefits of Aeration and Overseeding! This process is done by pulling soil plugs from the ground with an aerator, by pulling the plugs you are reducing soil compaction and breaking up a thatch layer! This greatly benefits the grass plant and roots by allowing air and water to flow through them at a much higher rate in comparison to a lawn that has not been aerated! The seeding takes place after aeration! The seeding helps the lawn by introducing new grass to the soil and will help to thicken up areas that have thinned out due to stress!
