On the ground floor of S-House, we designed an open living and dining layout that makes the most of a compact space.

Bright natural light fills the interior, while fluted glass panels—doubling as kitchen storage—enhance the airy atmosphere.

The result is a bright, expansive feel that transforms the everyday.

November took us to Mumbai for the Design Show 2025 with Architectural Digest India and Design Mumbai - a chance to step into India’s design scene firsthand. The talk shows offered real insights into how spaces are being thought about and made across the region.

But honestly, Mumbai itself was just as compelling as what was happening inside the venue. The streets have this particular energy - chaotic, yes, but there’s a charm in how it all somehow works. The food alone made the trip worth it.

We slipped away to Hyderabad for a few days too. Different pace, different flavor, but equally rewarding.

Sometimes the best learning happens in the spaces between the official programming - in conversations over meals, walking through neighborhoods, seeing how people actually live and move through their cities.

Drishti Manandhar has been part of STUDIO NEBA since September, joining us as an intern while pursuing her architecture degree at Kathmandu University.

She’s been learning the full picture here, from drawings on screen to reality on site. When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her tending to plants or baking something sweet.
