Second heat pump of the year installed this week for one of our old teachers Mr Cameron. Scary to think it was nearly 30 years ago since Kev & I were at Beeslack . This full system was installed in around 8 days and we have used MLCP under the floors fully insulated in 20mm thick foil back insulation installed properly with clips around the insulation.

We installed this system last September and we’re back today doing the annual service. Over the last year or so the total energy usage for heating and hot water was 3320 kwh. Even if you are paying 30p per kwh that’s still only £996 total for heating and hot water for the past 14 months. Our customer actually has battery and solar so his cost was far less but it proves heat pumps can be very cost effective if installed correctly. 4 bedroom new build type house.

We installed a Vaillant 7kw heat pump along with a 150 ltr slimline unvented hot water cylinder.
Our customer was using oil but wanted to save money on their heating as well as reduce their carbon footprint print.

We installed this hybrid system for one of our customers in Fife. The Grant evo link system is a really good compromise and it allows you to decide if you want to use oil or air source. We also installed a dab booster set to increase the water pressure.

Here we have a Vaillant Aerotherm Plus 7kW heat pump installed in the Craigleith area of Edinburgh.

We removed the gas combi and installed this system with a 200 Ltr Vaillant heat pump
cylinder, new radiators and pipework on a fully open system.

We are expecting a Scop of around 4.2-4.5 on this system.
