Our customer has kindly provided the feedback this morning for their recent installation:
We were familiar with the benefits of a having a ground source heat pump system in our previous house a newly renovated barn conversion, and were eager to see whether we might be able to install something similar into a 3-storey Victorian, 7-bedroom house we were renovating, built of granite and sited upon granite in the Lake District. Initially we thought the landscape would be a blocker for a GSHP however, Brendon and the team at Heacol surveyed the area and assured us they could cater for our requirements using their specialist drilling equipment to core 500 m total depth.
Brendon also offered practical and invaluable advice in terms of specifying the system and the ongoing monitoring to ensure maximum efficiency was achieved. They were also fantastic in liaising with all the necessary trades (electricians, plumbers, and builders) on-site to ensure the system was installed in time and on-budget and the after-service has always been outstanding. I could not recommend the Heacol team highly enough as specialists in the heat pump sector. We are so glad (and quite smug too, given current energy costs!) that we chose Brendon and the Heacol team to assist us.

A Mastertherm 22 KW single phase inverter Heat Pump with a 300-litre domestic hot water cylinder.
