Payroll
Administering Sage VIP Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional
Prepare and submit monthly recon file to the Finance Manager.
Prepare monthly payroll run for submission and verification to the Finance Manager.
Statutory reporting. Submit UIF to Department of Labour and PAYE/SDL/UIF payment report to Finance Manager for payment.
Monthly Payroll Reporting
Leave management (Ensure employees are taking leave within protocol and that Supervisors/Team leaders/Managers are applying the policy correctly)
New Employees / Termination administration
Bi-Annual and Annual reconciliation and submission of EMP201/EMP501. (IRP5’s)
Distribution of payslips
Sage VIP Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional System Updates
Industrial/Employee Relations
Contract drafting Ensure contracts are always up to date with latest legislation and in line with company policy
HR Policy Manual Ensure Policy is updated once per annum to include all internal changes as well as external legislative changes
Hearings Poor Performance
Disciplinary Representation at CCMA
Qualifications
Post Matric qualification - NQF level 5 or 6 in payroll administration or accounting
Extensive knowledge of payroll system.
Knowledge of SAGE Premier payroll software will be an added advantage.
MS Office: Word, Excel, Access, and payroll software applications
Must have 5-6 years hands-on experience of payroll software
At least 3 years’ experience in a payroll administrator function within a large group of companies
