Another high-performance installation completed at St Anne’s Diocesan College.

This system features:
• 360 × Aiko 620W panels
• 1 × 125kW Sungrow inverter
• 2 × 33kW Sungrow inverters
• Sungrow COM100 integration with a COMAP smart generator controller

The COMAP controller communicates directly with the Sungrow COM100, allowing the solar and generator systems to operate seamlessly in unison during grid outages. This intelligent integration prevents grid feedback and dynamically throttles solar production when the generator is running, improving overall system efficiency and reliability.

13 years.
Zero servicing.
One major breakdown later.

This Victron Energy inverter kept running for over a decade before dust buildup and neglected maintenance finally caught up with it.

The reality is simple:
Regular is protection for your investment.

A professional clean, inspection, and preventative service could have easily added another 5+ years of reliable operation by:

• Preventing overheating
• Improving airflow and cooling
• Reducing component stress
• Catching failures before downtime happens

If your inverter runs daily, maintenance matters.
Don’t wait for failure before giving your system attention.

Linc Church Solar Install ⚡️☀️

A powerful system built for efficiency and reliability.

• 4 × 30kW SigenStore inverters
• 24 × 8kWh batteries
• 120kW gateway
• 284 × 615W AIKO panels

We installed an energy meter at the main incomer to ensure excess solar isn’t wasted — instead, it’s redirected to support a nearby housing complex.

The site also includes a 300kVA generator, smartly integrated so it only kicks in when battery levels drop below 20%, and shuts down seamlessly when grid power returns.

Smarter energy. Maximum utilisation. Reliable backup.

Recent install complete in Brettenwood ⚡️

Clean, tidy work paired with reliable Fox ESS equipment — exactly how it should be done.

With electricity prices continuing to rise, investing in a well-installed system isn’t just smart… it’s necessary.

Quality installation. Long-term peace of mind.

At The Heights in Mtunzini, we’ve delivered something truly special — a fully off-grid energy ecosystem designed to support modern estate living, completely independent of the grid.

With 19 family homes already built (and more to come), each residence operates with its own backup system, while intelligently feeding excess energy back into a central solar hub. This hub acts as the estate’s primary power source, ensuring stability and efficient energy distribution across the entire development.

Beyond just electricity, the system supports a fully off-grid infrastructure — including a borehole-fed water supply with an advanced filtration system, and an independent industrial scale sewage solution.

This isn’t just solar installation — it’s system design at scale.
A balance of generation, storage, and intelligent load management working together as one.

A project like this reflects what’s possible when technical expertise meets forward-thinking development.

Why your solar system produces less in winter ☀️❄️

Ever noticed your solar output dipping in winter? It’s not your system, it’s the sun.

During winter, the Earth tilts away from the sun, causing sunlight to hit your panels at a lower angle. This means the energy is spread over a larger area, reducing how much power your panels can generate. Add shorter days and longer nights, and your total production naturally drops.

The good news? Your system is still working efficiently, it’s just receiving less solar energy.

Come summer, with longer days and a higher sun angle, your production climbs right back up 🚀
