AdCop Consulting Engineers has been appointed to provide engineering services for the condition assessment of an industrial pump testing facility.
The facility which was constructed in the late 70’s consists of a steel grillage system that is supported by a reinforced concrete water retaining structure.

• Total area = 450m²
• Total weight of steel = 30 tons
• Sump depth = 6.5m
• Water holding capacity = 615m³
• Maximum load on grillage system = 12 tons

Scope of works:
• On-site measurements and data capturing of current structure
• In-situ concrete and steel material testing
• Structural analysis of steel grillage frame
• Structural analysis of concrete water retaining sump
• Final report on the materials condition and recommendations
