🌳 TREE REPLACEMENT POLICIES — WHY DO THEY MATTER?
Trees are valuable assets. They provide shade, screening, privacy, environmental benefits and character to the landscapes.
But what happens when a mature tree must be removed due to age, storm damage, lightning strikes, aggressive root systems, construction activities or poor health?
🌱 *A long-term plan makes all the difference.*
A well known public school in Boksburg understands the importance of responsible tree management.
Nearly a decade ago, the school partnered with *Nectasource* to develop and implement a "Tree Replacement Policy". Since then, they have followed our recommendations, remove invasive tree species and replace them with indigenous, water-wise alternatives.
This is about more than simply replacing trees. It is about creating a healthier, more sustainable environment for generations to come.
The school is committed to leaving a positive legacy for its learners, teachers and future generations — and Nectasource is proud to be part of that journey every step of the way🌳
