Just a reminder to clients: When you call a contractor to attend to a call during the week - non scheduled work, on weekends and public holidays, once the contractor touches a tool to start locating a fault, labour is onvolved and thus the reason for call out fees.
To expect a contractor to drive all the way to site, stand arms folded and thumb suck what could be the problem does not work, faults needs to be searched for and reason for failure.
So next time asking somebody to come investigate a fault and cause, dont accuse the contractor of legally stealing by charging a call out fee.
