Working hours: 07:45 – 17:00
Overtime and Standby Week-ends applicable as and when required

Job Mission:
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes in commercial structures like apartment buildings or residential homes. Collaborate with other construction professionals such as general contractors to ensure everything goes according to plan during renovations or new builds and maintenance projects.
Job brief:
A plumber efficiently undertakes a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and
sanitary ware.
A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge and able to work efficiently with great attention to detail.
The goal is to install and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water and waste.
A successful Plumber needs to have experience working with various fixtures involved in their field.
Key Performance Areas (summary of functional outputs):
Responsibilities
Plumbing Maintenance, renovations and new builds.
Team Leader:
Accountability and Management of your team
Accountability for the vehicle and neatness thereof
Accountability for the tools and equipment
Accountability for the store area
Accountability for PPE issued
Safety of you and your team – identifying risks and/or potential risks
Regular Safety checks to be conducted
Reporting of tool and equipment breakages, loss and/or theft
Reporting of Incidents, accidents, near misses
POPI Act related information confidentiality
Taking the Company interest to heart
Identifying issues and reporting to Management be it work related and/or personal.
Administrative work in line with your job as Team Leader
Requirements and skills:
Proven experience as a plumber, 2 – 3 years’ experience would be an advantage
Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly with a great deal of patience
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
Valid license to practice profession
Valid Driver’s license
