Spring is in the air here in the Cape. Time to get into the garden. My fav is to put on my garden clothes, tie up my hair, take my cup of tea with and get lost in the creative process of whatever the garden needs. Within 10 minutes I feel relaxed and happy. Hopeful even in these challenging times.

I started this forest area when my girls were toddlers, to give them a space for adventure (and epic easter egg hunts). Deep breaths and lots of laughter filled these pathways for years! My Clivia has been divided and replanted and always looks gorgeous. Evergreen and perennial they do best in rich and well drained soil
