Can't believe we have more rain on the way. It's a tricky time to be a Garden Service.

Please contact us should you need emergency tree felling or removal of fallen/ problematic branches. (Please note we can only work on trees on your property, a call will need to be logged with COCT for all trees on public spaces, verges etc). If you would like us to clear drains and gutters during your regular service please let us know. Please also remember to divert water away from your property from overflowing rain water tanks to prevent damage to property.

CITY OF CAPE TOWN. The SA Weather Service has issued an advisory for orange Level 5 disruptive rainfall over Cape Town and surrounding municipalities on Saturday, 27 July 2024.

Cape Town has experienced significant rainfall already this month, and so the soil and waterways in many parts of the city remain well saturated.

All City services will be put on standby to deal with any impacts from the forecast.

We advise the public to please take heed of the current advisory, and to start implementing any possible mitigation measures around their properties in the interim.

This would include clearing out drainage systems and cleaning gutters, removing dead tree branches and other obstructions, and digging trenches around their homes to divert water away.

It is very important to make sure your garden is winter ready. Point Garden Services can help with trees on your property but please remember that any trees on pavements or verges belong to the COCT and heavy fines can be imposed should anyone attempt to cut these, this can only be done by the COCT.
