Another milestone on the journey. ⚓🌍

Two vessels have successfully arrived in Mauritius, marking another completed leg of their delivery voyage from Singapore to West Africa.

With the vessels safely through this stage of the journey, the next leg will take them onwards to Cape Town, before continuing towards their final destination in West Africa.

Each delivery presents its own challenges, and the safe progress of both vessels is a testament to the professionalism, experience and dedication of the crews and everyone involved behind the scenes.

Singapore → Mauritius → Cape Town → West Africa

A major milestone achieved for Astawabi. ⚓

After an extensive refit, Astawabi has successfully completed her sea trials, marking the final stage of the project before delivery to her owner in West Africa.

From the initial scope of work through to the final testing, our team has worked closely with our partners to ensure the vessel is fully prepared for her next chapter. Successfully completing sea trials is a significant milestone, confirming that all major systems are operating as intended and that the vessel is ready to return to service.

With the refit now complete, our focus turns to the final delivery voyage to her owner in West Africa.

A sincere thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to a successful conclusion. We look forward to sharing the next chapter as Astawabi begins her journey home.

Another successful vessel delivery completed.

Seaborne Solutions is proud to have successfully delivered two 42m Flex Hybrid Lite vessels from Singapore to our client.

Following a smooth bunkering stop in Sri Lanka, the vessels continued their journey towards their final destination. Throughout the voyage, our experienced crew navigated periods of heavy weather with professionalism, resilience and an unwavering commitment to safety, ensuring both vessels were delivered successfully.

One of the highlights of this delivery was the vessels' advanced hybrid propulsion design. Equipped with a shaft generator integrated with a battery energy storage system, the vessels demonstrated exceptional fuel efficiency while significantly reducing main engine running hours and maintenance requirements. It was a great opportunity to see this innovative technology perform in real-world operating conditions.

Every delivery voyage brings its own unique challenges, and this project is another testament to the skill, dedication and professionalism of the Seaborne Solutions team. We are proud to continue delivering safe, efficient and reliable marine solutions for our clients around the world.

🚢 Major Refit & Dry Dock Milestones

Seaborne Solutions is proud to share the completion of two major vessel projects, showcasing the scale of work our team delivers both in dry dock and during full vessel refits.

⚓ Mounfiq – Dry Dock Complete

Following an extensive 5-year class renewal dry dock, Mounfiq has successfully completed her sea trials and is now underway back to her client.

The project included:
✔️ 5-year class certification renewal
✔️ Hull blasting and painting
✔️ Servicing of all LSA & FFA equipment
✔️ Top-end overhauls of the main engines and generators
✔️ Replacement of inlet and overboard valves
✔️ Security and vessel alarm system modifications
✔️ Interior repairs and refurbishment
✔️ New timber cargo deck
✔️ Extensive electrical repairs

From bow to stern, virtually every part of the vessel received attention, ensuring she returns to service in excellent condition.

⚓ Astawabi 1 – Refit Complete, Sea Trials Next

Our team has also completed a comprehensive refit of Astawabi 1, with sea trials now the final step before she returns to operation.

The scope of work included:
✔️ Complete overhaul of the main engines
✔️ Complete overhaul of the generator
✔️ Complete overhaul of the propulsion drives
✔️ Fuel purifier overhaul
✔️ New domestic freshwater and blackwater systems
✔️ New alarm monitoring system
✔️ Renewal of all LSA & FFA equipment
✔️ Restoration of class certification
✔️ Flag change and vessel renaming

🚢 Project Update – Two Successful Deliveries Completed

⚓ Flex 42M
Successfully delivered a Flex 42M vessel from Singapore to Africa, with strategic stopovers in Mauritius and Cape Town for bunker operations and provisioning.

⚓ Dive Support Vessel
Successfully delivered a Dive Support Vessel to Walvis Bay following the completion of a comprehensive 3-yearly refit project managed by Seaborne Solutions.

A huge thank you to our clients for the opportunity to be part of these projects, and to our crews whose professionalism and dedication ensured both voyages were completed safely and efficiently.

🚢 Dry Dock Projects Underway

Seaborne Solutions is currently supporting work on two vessels in dry dock, with both projects moving steadily forward.

⚓ Astawabi 1
An ongoing project since last year, work on Astawabi 1 currently includes vessel blasting and painting as part of her continued maintenance and preparation. Once completed, our team will also carry out her sea trials and mobilisation, ensuring she is fully operational and project-ready for her next phase.

⚓ Mounfiq
We are also currently supporting Mounfiq during her 5-yearly dry dock, an important milestone in maintaining vessel performance, compliance, and long-term operational reliability.

From maintenance and inspections to sea trials and mobilisation, Seaborne Solutions remains committed to supporting vessels through every stage of their operational journey.

From Eastern waters to Western shores 🌍⚓

Seaborne Solutions is proud to continue its ongoing collaboration with Penguin Shipyard supporting the delivery of vessels across international waters through reliable marine coordination and operational support.

Two vessels are currently en route from Singapore to West Africa as part of the latest project between our teams. One vessel has recently departed Cape Town following maintenance work, fuel bunkering and crew changes before continuing westbound. The second vessel has now departed Mauritius and is due to call in Cape Town shortly for the same operational support before continuing her voyage.

Over the past year, Seaborne Solutions has successfully coordinated several vessel deliveries in partnership with Penguin Shipyard, building a trusted working relationship founded on professionalism, efficiency and dependable maritime support.

From crewing and port operations to voyage support and logistics coordination, Seaborne Solutions remains committed to delivering safe and efficient maritime solutions every step of the way.

🚢 Pelican Gain – First Leg Underway

Pelican Gain has officially departed Singapore, beginning her journey to West Africa — another exciting project in collaboration with Penguin Shipyard and Flexfleet Management Services.

Originally built by Pelican Shipyard, the vessel reflects a strong foundation of quality construction, now supported by trusted partners to see her safely through to delivery.

This first leg will take her across the Indian Ocean, routing via the Maldives, Mauritius, and Cape Town, highlighting the scale and coordination behind a voyage like this.

We’re proud to be working alongside Penguin Shipyard, whose continued partnership and expertise drive projects like these forward, and Flexfleet Management Services, ensuring the vessel is managed to the highest operational standards throughout her journey.

With Seaborne Solutions crew on board, the focus remains on safe, efficient passage and delivering the vessel ready for her next phase.

🚢 Pelican Calm – Voyage Complete

Pelican Calm has successfully arrived in West Africa marking the end of her voyage for Penguin Shipyard.

Our crew is now hard at work preparing the vessel for upcoming charter inspections, ensuring everything is in top condition and ready for her next phase of operations.

From delivery to readiness, Seaborne Solutions remains committed to providing experienced crews and seamless support every step of the way.
