This is our intro as a plumbing company:
What is a good plumber?
-A good plumber needs to have experience working with various fixtures involved in their field eg geyser installation, leak finding,gas gesyer installation, bathroom reno and maintenance, rain water harvesting, drainage, blockages etc.
A plumber should be able to identify issues within a system and solve them eg leaks and fixing, vibrating pipes and fix the problem, airlock and solve the maths, identify soft and hard water etc.
It's also essential for a good plumber to have good communication skills to convey any problems. To communicate and be open on how cheap material can be hazardous to healthy, cheap material can be expensive in the long run eg a Chinese mixer can be $200 but it last 1 year and Cobra mixer is $600 but last 15 years. Work the maths 🙈
A good plumber must be able to read plans and and apply on the ground, maintenance need as a fast thinker and read the mind of the installer you never meet 🤣.
Yes a plumber must be educated with certificates, trade test, diplomas in various fields. Someone who is willing to evolve with time as technology is changing lots of stuff in this field eg solar elements (4 geysers), sensor flushing system, self heating whirlpool bath etc.
A good plumber must be handy - have knowledge of tiles, building, ceilings, painting etc (just little knowledge is very essential)
Lastly a good plumber must be smart and practice hygiene-
PLUMBING IS LIFE.
Remember- malls, hospitals, hotels, educational facilities, airports beaty salons, (only a few) they function well coz a plumber makes it happen. Think of our homes without a good plumber (are you guys ready to use ancient systems (bush)) 🤗🥱.
