2021 – Concept
A proposed design concept of the Ndjili - Kinshasa International Airport to replace the existing airport situated in Idjili in Kinshasa the capital city of DRC Congo. It is designed to serve as the primary airport for domestic and international travel to/from DRC Congo and could potentially be Africa's busiest airport, with a capacity to handle up to 30 million passengers annually.

• Underground railway station consisting of 10 railway lines to / from various cities in the country.

A proposed monorail transportation system along the N1 route between Gombe and the Ndjili - Kinshasa International Airport in Kinshasa the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
This mode of transport is aimed at alleviating the existing traffic congestion to and from the CBD of Gombe and the Ndjili - Kinshasa International Airport.
While the Architectural and design component of the project was undertaken by Djamba Designs Architecture, the project is managed by BOMBARDIER. Bombardier Transportation is a Canadian-German rolling stock and rail transport manufacturer headquartered in Berlin, Germany. It was one of the world's largest companies in the rail vehicle and equipment manufacturing and servicing industry.
A monorail is a railway system in which the track consists of a single elevated rail, beam or track with the trains either supported or suspended. The term is also used to describe the beam of the system, or the vehicles traveling on such a beam or track
