The team successfully installed a brand new IBR Zincalume roof system to replace the old rusted and leaking roof sheets, including the removal and disposal of the damaged glass skylight sections.

To strengthen the roof structure and ensure long-term durability, additional 76x50mm purlin was fitted and reinforced before installation of the new roof sheeting.

To further protect the roof against leaks and harsh weather conditions, we applied an ABE Super Laykold waterproofing system, followed by a UV resistant aluminium paint coating to prolong the lifespan of the waterproofing system and improve weather resistance. ☔️☀️

This property is now fully upgraded and ready for the winter season with a clean, modern and durable finish.

🌧️ Emergency Repair Works Completed After Heavy Rain Damage 🌧️

Recent heavy rains caused severe washaways to the paving area, resulting in movement of paving bricks and damage to the gate track system.

Our team carried out the following remedial repairs to restore and secure the area:

✔️ Removed all affected paving
✔️ Refilled and compacted the washed-out areas
✔️ Installed filling sand and re-compacted for stability
✔️ Reinstalled paving to existing layout
✔️ Straightened the damaged gate track
✔️ Re-casted new concrete foundations for the gate track
✔️ Re-fitted the gate track and completed welding repairs
✔️ Replaced 2 damaged nu tec slats on the gate to make good

✔️ Removed existing window, bricked up and plastered
✔️ Removed shower wall and rebuilt to create more usable space
✔️ Built a man-sized braai, used charcoal fire bricks for durability and heat resistance on the internal of the braai area
✔️ Installed a Chimney Champ system for proper ventilation
✔️ Side cupboards fitted with a prep bowl and mixer for added convenience
✔️ Retiled the entire area with modern 600x600 tiles
✔️ Fresh paint finish to bring the whole room to life
