Client had a leak in the wall. Inconsistent and a bit stinky. I believe it was a leak on the waste pipe. Quick camera inspection confirmed it. Chop open pipe at this point. Remove warped pipe. Carry out sectional repair. Patch up wall.

Replacing your sacrificial anode on your geyser slows down the process of your tank deteriorating.
Also reducing the amount of hours a day your geyser is switched, either manually or by installing a timer on can seriously elongate the life of your tank.

Hello all! I just would like to share some plumbing tips. This is a common mistake that people are making when saving water.
People collect their bath or shower water and then put the water into the cistern. This can effect the moving parts in the cistern and may lead to them having to be replaced. Rather put the saved water straight into the pan.
Another mistake people make is they over use this angle valve to the toilet. These valves are good for shutting on or off the water to the cistern from time to time but should not be used too frequently as they tend to stop working.
