It is not that difficult to spot certain electrical faults and some homeowners, especially handymen will tell you they can fix it themselves without a problem. However, electricians must undergo years of extensive training and certification processes to obtain his or her license. We strongly advise against making your electrical repairs a DIY project and here is why: There are tons of electricity running through your home, and without the knowledge of how to test for electrical currents you risk getting shocked! YouTube can be very helpful, but it only takes one spark to start an electrical fire. If you have exposed wires in your home or something seems to be overheating you need to contact an electrician immediately. Do not hesitate to give us a call!

While lights that dim when big appliances turn on are not dangerous, it can be quite frustrating and raise unnecessary concern. Give us a call and we will be able to test and see if your distribution board is wired correctly and can fix any of the issues, such as loose connections. We may also find issues in your current installation. We would be happy to guide you through this and assist you by providing tips on what to do if this is the case!
