Applications are now open for the 2026 IPPS NZ International Exchanges!

The IPPS New Zealand Region is offering two incredible opportunities to take your horticulture career global In 2026.

Western Region Exchange (USA & Canada)
Attend the IPPS Western Region conference in Salt Lake City (1-4 September 2026) and connect with growers, nurseries, and researchers across North America.

South African Exchange
Travel to South Africa in October/November 2026 and experience a completely different climate, flora, and propagation systems.
What’s included:
Return travel (including insurance)
Conference registration
Accommodation

Who should apply?
Open to all IPPS members aged 21+, with a focus on those in the early stages of their careers. An amazing chance to build knowledge, networks, and confidence.

In return:
Share your experience with the IPPS NZ community through a conference presentation and a newsletter article.

Applications close: 20 May 2026
You can apply for both exchanges, but different applicants will be selected for each.
This is a rare opportunity to learn, explore, and bring fresh ideas back to New Zealand’s horticulture industry
