Woodology Recycled Luxury Timber Products Specific sizes can be manufactured on request.

When manufacturing Timber products for Clients one usually has a cutting allowance of 8% for each item of furniture or staircase. What we do is utilize what is left of the 8% of timber to create our beautiful once off timber accessories (currently only Butcher Boards), no two products are the same, as we manufacture in such away to incorporate all the reclaimed timber.

What is the advantage of end grain Butcher Boards?
- End grain boards are easier on the knife edges and will last much longer. When cutting, the edge goes between the wood fibres and those fibres aren't severed. Long grain cutting boards, while they are much easier to make and much less expensive, will have their wood fibres severed as an edge cuts across. They will require resurfacing more often to rid the cutting surface of splinters.
