Our UPC Tactical Secure Protection patrol teams were active across surrounding areas last night, maintaining visibility and responding swiftly to community concerns.

✅ Ashdown Close – Vagrant removed, area secured.
✅ Kildare Close – Vagrant removed after patrol intervention.
✅ Clydebank – Multiple vagrants removed to ensure community safety.
✅ Sunningdale, Cape Town – Routine patrol completed, all clear.

🚔 Routine Patrol Update | UPC Tactical Secure Protection

Yesterday during routine patrols, our team observed an individual in possession of a refuse bin and conducted a thorough search. The bin contained laptop cases.

Metro Police aldo arrived on scene to assist. After assessment, it was determined that no further action was required at this time.

Our proactive approach ensures that every unusual activity is investigated to maintain the safety and peace of our communities.

Before you give a handout, think about the 5 stages of “toxic charity.” 🧠

Sometimes, what starts as kindness can unintentionally create dependency instead of real change. Repeated one-way giving can shift a person’s mindset — from gratitude to expectation, and eventually, dependency.

The 5 Stages of Toxic Charity:
1️⃣ Appreciation – The person is grateful for the first gift. 🎁
2️⃣ Anticipation – The second time, they begin to look forward to it. 😊
3️⃣ Expectation – By the third time, they expect it. 🙁
4️⃣ Entitlement – The fourth time, they feel it’s owed to them. 😤
5️⃣ Dependency – Eventually, they rely completely on it. 😡

Let’s focus on helping people off the streets and into new opportunities — not keeping them stuck.
