*WARNING -Please be aware* : Clear wrappers on cylinders: *ILLEGALLY FILLED CYLINDER*
When you buy a Gas exchange cylinder at your local supplier or wherever you purchase yours from and I know people are shopping around due to the current gas supply shortage, PLEASE ensure the cylinder valve wrap seal is not a plain clear seal.
All refills should have the seal of the brand of the cylinder. This seal wrapper also bears a serial number.
Afrox - Red
Oryx - Green
Total - Orange
Easigas - white or clear branded

A cylinder with a clear seal has been illegally "Rogue" filled. You have no claim, if there is an incident your insurance will not cover you. These Rogue fillers do not take responsibility for the cylinders conditioner safety checks and maintenance, they are in illegal possession of the cylinders. They may overfill causing dangerous pressure to the cylinder, they have been known to under fill and substitute the weight with iron filings placed in the cylinder, or even part water.
They are committing a crime and putting peoples lives in danger for greed.
DO NOT PURCHASE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Please report these dealers to us so we may follow up with the LPGSASA and the Department of Labour.

Dangerous DIY practices with Gas in the home. Some examples of what we come across in our daily call outs. Gas water heaters installed inside with no flue to the outside, pumping lethal carbon monoxide into the area. Rollabout gas heaters are designed so the 9kg cylinder counterweights the heater, without it the heater can fall over and catch fire. The 48kg gas cylinder inside is illegal and just plain suicidal.
