It's that time, the big downscale, so we depart our much loved Cape Town and move on to Jeffreys Bay in a few days...a quieter life awaits.
Just managed to squeeze in a job...4 big pots, two of each.
The theme...Turkish Delight.
Quite a transformation. Enjoy the before and after pics....

Well, eventually it's done for xmas.
I did the flamingo painting, acrylic on wood, as a covid recovered pressie for a friend and then hubby commissioned another one. Pelicans. Quite a unique bird choice there Mr Morks but I'm pretty chuffed with the end result.

Created this cute book room sign, acrylic on wood, for a friend who has a book shop and second hand shop at her home to support the local dog rescue...Cheryl Lyns rescue Organisation.
Pls support her fb site Auctions for Rescue or visit her shops to generate much needed funds for the doggies.

My view right now, chilling...how I love autumn afternoons

Some home improvements for myself this time....opened out my pool area that was unused and a mess with some extra paving and leveling of existing patch for new chairs.
We extended and joined the roof structure to existing so it all flows together.
Then some mosaic for the circle that once held a tree.
Now to the upcycle of some old chairs and tables followed by a redistribution of some plants from the garden including clivia, fern, aeonium, lilly, crouton and bromeliads.
Added a pole too for my upcycled bird feeders. I love my birdies.
Now to sit back and chill a bit.

My latest garden revamp....
A section surrounding a huge tree needed attention and converting into a quaint area for tea breaks, reading and contemplation.
Using existing pots, ornaments wooden doors, bench, table...generally scouring the garden for choice pieces to use.
All this assembled with new paving, stone and existing plants. A bit of pop paint colour here and there....and....
A beautiful new space.

A rock pathway just completed, the final addition to a garden I did a while back (excluding the pathway), so much easier to walk on now, no tripping, no mess, easy to clean and easy on the eye lol
