At 3:30 AM on Sunday, my sister had to do an airport transfer on behalf of her husband’s company Joe's Premier Shuttle Services . Driving through areas known for hijackings and smash-and-grabs at that hour is nerve-wracking. She was about to explain to her passenger that, for safety, she wouldn’t stop at red traffic lights unless there was oncoming traffic, when she noticed a police vehicle pull up alongside her.

That vehicle stayed with her, escorting her all the way to the airport. 🚔

To the Ravensmead police station and the officers on duty that night, we thank you for protecting us. Your outstanding service and care reflect exactly what we hope to see in our police officers countrywide. Kudos to you!

She couldn’t get the vehicle details, as it was travelling alongside her all the way. Please share this story widely so that the message of appreciation may reach them and those in positions of power who should know what a difference good policing makes. 🙌
