ABSOLUTE CHILLED we follow suppliers recommendations that every air-conditioner unit should be serviced annually. Bi-annually and Monthly services can also be performed and information on this is readily available at our offices. A basic annual service includes the following:
All filters are removed, cleansed and re-installed
The condenser/s and evaporator coil/s will be chemically cleaned
The refrigerant gas pressures will be checked and topped up if needed
Lubricant will be applied as needed
The units will be tested for efficiency

Midwall Splits: Split airconditioners are the most popular choice today for home airconditioning. These has separate indoor and outdoor units and require a 50diam hole for installation. They are quiet and efficient in operation. Cassette Airconditioners: These airconditioners are mounted in the ceiling and are often used in commercial applications as well as in upmarket homes. Like midwall splits, they have separate outdoor units and are extremely quiet. Underceiling Airconditioners: These airconditioners are mounted on the wall parallel to the ceiling. It is ideal for cooling/heating large open plan areas such as open plan offices, conference rooms and shops. Hideaway / Ducted Airconditioners: These airconditioners are more frequently used in commercial and industrial applications or home areas from 40m2 and upwards. These units utilises ducts to carry heated and cooled air to rooms. Like all other mentioned airconditioners, they too have separate outdoor units. DVM Systems: This state-of-the-art airconditioning system is most often used commercially but is also being specified for very upmarket homes. One outdoor unit airconditions several rooms and the system is very economical in operation. Portable Airconditioners: As their name applies, these units are more useful for temporary applications and can be moved around your home to suit your personal needs. Window Wall Airconditioners: These combine indoor and outdoor units in one package and are thus not as quiet as splits. They require a large opening to be made in a wall / window, and are best suited for installation where provision is made at building design stage. Rooftop Package Units: With cooling capacities from 88 800BTU/hr to 300 000 BTU/hr and heating capacities from 96 000 BTU/hr to 324 000 BTU/hr, these units are ideal for ducted airconditioning of large open-plan areas. Air Curtains: Mounted over doors, these provide an “invisible curtain” of air. They help to keep your indoor temperature constant.
