ProReno brought this family's vision to life by using various textures for the cabinetry.
PG Bison's silky smooth SupaMatt Kalapana and sleek SupaGloss Dunblane Grey combined with Seno SA's gorgeous textured Oak End Grain Elegance and Oak End Grain Raw from their Kaindl range further complimented by beautifully veined Calacatta Mystique quartz worktops and cladding.

Using textures and patterns in this home helped create inviting and interesting spaces, tempting family members to gather around, whether preparing a meal together in the kitchen, unwinding around the braai area or relaxing in the family room watching a movie - the results bringing joy and comfort to the whole family.

These kitchens are not just places for preparing meals, but also the heart of the home where family members gather, share stories, and create lasting memories. From the moment you enter, the peaceful atmosphere envelops you, drawing you in and inviting you to stay a little longer. The kitchen island becomes a hub, where everyone can gather around to share their day or lend a helping hand in meal preparation.

The Storm Grey Seno SA Acrylic Matt fronts and light Sigma Quarts worktops from ProQuartz were carefully selected to promote a calm and soothing ambiance. Warmth was added with accents of White Oak Veneer finished with Rubio Monocoat and wall cladding in earthy colored African Ivory Granite.

Using textures in kitchen design creates a visually appealing and functional space. Textures refer to the surface quality or feel of the material and they play a big role in defining the look, feel and atmosphere of a kitchen. The velvety Acrylic Matt Graubraun cabinets from Seno SA were mixed with Niemann SA Textured Castello Accents and Island cabinetry. Recessed LED lighting shows the rich colour and texture of Innovus SA Spirit Range in Kingswood to create an internal glow behind the Vogue Doors Matt Bronze Aluminium framed doors. Blum South Africa Legrabox drawer runners fit well with the dark Innovus Vermont Slate carcasses for a luxurious look and feel. Art Granite & Quartz did a magnificent job with Neolith Sintered Stone Krater in 12mm and 60mm built-up format with a beautifully integrated stone basin and brass inlay embellishments. The breakfast nook was adorned with beautiful Nero Fiorito Marble. The kitchen is highly functional with built-in Siemens appliances including an integrated Fridge and Freezer. Inky, reflective cabinets with wooden accents create an elegant contemporary space with an intimate feel. Recessed LED lighting is used to create extra light and warmth in the wooden display areas and cleverly hidden, purpose-driven pockets. Cabinetry done in PG Bison SupaGloss Storm Grey with wooden accent in SupaTexture Napoca. The moody colour of the cabinets is contrasted with a light and veiny island worktop from Caesarstone Bianco Drift. The same dark cabinetry is carried into a large secondary area for overflow kitchen, scullery and laundry space. This cabinetry is contrasted with light worktops in Sigma Quartz Vanilla from ProQuartz to add to the overall freshness and brightness of the area. Quality hinges and drawer runners from Blum will last a lifetime.

Pretoria East House

Having an organised kitchen creates efficient workflows for the whole family. According to Candice Baillie of Labb SA , your kitchen will have increased functionality when you arrange and place items according to importance and frequency of use. Being organised means you won't be wasting time searching for anything and keeping stock of your consumables becomes much easier!

ProReno had the pleasure of renovating the kitchen, scullery and braai area of a Pretoria East home. The primary theme was to improve organisation and functionality. We incorporated modern finishes with high-end appliances and accessories.

Kitchen & Scullery
Clean lines and light accents were used to create a spacious, clutter-free space. The look was achieved by using Seno SA Jagged White Stone and Light Grey Acrylic Matt for the cabinets and Caesarstone South Africa Sleek Concrete for the worktops. Blum South Africa Legrabox drawer runners, Blum Aventos lift systems and inserts were used to organise drawers.

How installing drawers and inserts can benefit you

It's vital to access everything in your kitchen quickly and with ease. High-quality drawers offer maximum functionality by giving you easy fuss-free access and smooth operation. We installed Ambialine spice holders to arrange spice bottles at an angle for easy reading. The oil and condiment bottle dividers keep everything organised and secure making it quick to grab what you need.

Braai Area
The braai area has a large steel-framed island with enough cabinets to continue with the theme of functionality and organisation. A more robust look was created though for this area by using Niemann SA’s Décor Metal Reflex for the cabinets to complement the Trillium Porcelain used for worktops and wall cladding. And since a bar fridge and ice machine are a must for every braai area, the SnoMaster appliances are the perfect addition to this particular space.
