Over the past 8 years the Sun City and Leopard Creek golf courses have been rewarded either the 1st or 2nd prize for the best golf course in South Africa each year. Our grass is cultivated and maintained on the farm ‘Geluk’ just outside Delmas in Mpumalanga, South Africa. We form part of the prised Rossgro Group, who received the ‘SA Farmer of the Year’ award in 2007. The Delmas region is recognised for its superb quality agricultural ground – of the highest in South Africa! This places Africa Lawns on the perfect spot for growing products that have been awarded of the best in South Africa. Most of our program is organically fertilized and carefully formulated by our team of international experts. The soil quality is continuously monitored by agronomists who are employed on a permanent basis. They ensure that the product we deliver is of extremely high quality, with the correct percentage of moisture under any circumstances. To improve our product standard, strict quality control is applied before and during the harvesting process. The latest international equipment is used for the growing and harvesting process of the grass to provide our customers with superb quality sods. We harvest between on average 8000m² every day. Pallets are packed with extreme care at high speed. Minimal handling improves the quality of the end product and that is exactly what we want to offer.
